It is very easy to become anxious and frustrated when things seem to continuously be going wrong. Luckily, there is a solution to cope with the frantic moments. The answer is simple, make a conscientious decision to be happy. The truth of the matter is life will always continue to throw us curve balls but it is up to us to decide whether we give our situations the power over our lives. We must hope for the best but prepare for the worst, so when those tough times do occur, we do not start operating in overload mode. Problems do not go away, but taking a stand and making sure a positive mentality succumbs any worry/anxiety, is the best way to go.
Trust me, I have been through my shares of worrying about how certain things would work out.
(For example, when I was a sophomore at Georgia State University and I lost my Hope Scholarship, I thought the journey of furthering my education was over). Where there is a will, there is a way! I remained focused on doing all that I could to get the situation fixed, I enrolled in a program to help me regain the Hope Scholarship back, and kept it until I graduated in 2013. It was real easy for me to feel depressed and want to throw the towel in, but I had made it too far to quit. God is GOOD! He continues to guide us along this rollercoaster ride called "life". As long as we are making a consistent effort to do better as well as make a influential impact in this world, he will fill in the gap. Remember: You may not always have all that you want, but you have all that you NEED. Choose to be Happy, because choosing to be sad does not get you anywhere but wallowing in self-pity.
